About Dr. May Louie
Dr. May Louie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended the University of Southern California and received her B.A. in Biological Sciences with Honors in 1978. She received Phi Beta Kappa and Dean’s List for eight consecutive semesters. From there, Dr. Louie went on to attend the prestigious University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry and graduated in the upper third of her class in 1982.
After only 5 years of practice, Dr. Louie was awarded the prestigious fellowship award from the ADI (Academy of Dentistry International) in 1987 – an award generally reserved for older, seasoned dentists. The ADI recognized Dr. Louie early on due to her extensive amount of continuing education courses in so short a time. Then in 2003, Dr. Louie was also awarded the prestigious fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry, reflecting Dr. Louie’s ongoing, lifelong quest and commitment to continuing education to better service her patients.

Dr. Louie and her husband, Benson, have two beautiful children, Brittney and Austen, who keep her young on the inside and grey on the outside (just kidding!). Dr. Louie’s interests include travel, restaurant-hopping and sleeping.
